Southbank Center

The SouthBank Centre has different featured events for the summer. First, there is the "Adopting Britain" festival going on with different events exploring the history of Britain until today and how Britain is shaped today. Main event the exhibition "Adopting Britain: 70 years of Migration" in the Royal Festival Hall, on until 6 September. It is a very sentimental exhibition exploring the different migrants coming to the UK and the reasons that brought them here, together with their stories and the reality of the "asylum seekers". Moreover, there is the "Udderbelly Festival", featuring different shows like stand-up comedy, concerts e.t.c. and cabaret in its special space called "Wonderground". As Udderbelly is mostly for kids or family events, Wonderground is for adults.
