Where models eat burgers

That little place in Paris that become famous because models like Kendal Jenner and Gigi Hadid visited to eat burgers when in town, opened a shop in London. It is called Ferdi and it is in Shepherds Market in Mayfair. Quite tiny with limited and restricted space and a colour scheme of red and black it reminds me of a little tucked space somewhere in the French capital, coming from an era bygone.

The menu features French, Spanish and American cuisine all together. If you read the menu for the first time you get a bit confused of the theme or the cuisine of the place. Additionally to the minus of the space and the menu selection the biggest negative of the restaurant is the price. The bill with one starter, two mains, two sides and drinks or dessert can reach very easily the £100 barrier. The burger itself is priced quite high, around £16.

However, the food itself is quite rewarding. The burger, the reason it is famous for, has the homemade, comforting, saucy, hearty feeling you would want from a real burger. The sauce is incredible. It is definitely going in my list of the best burgers in London. Keep tuned for this post coming soon.

The most popular sides are the french fries and fried bananas. The gem lettuce salad has the same taste as the ones I eat in Paris. Other famous dishes are the mac & cheese and the ceviche, which I didn't try. As for desserts?

There is the home chocolate special dessert (a type of chocolate mousse sculpted as a mouse) and the churros with chocolate.

You can drop by for lunch, but you need to text the restaurant for dinner reservations. Just keep in mind the space is small and that is better to go maximum 4 people in order to have more comfortability and an opportunity to find space.
