The museum is filled with illuminated structures under a winter trail and offers late openings during this time.

A new show from Cirque du Soleil showcasing the story of mankind. 

6.    DISNEY ON ICE

Famous Disney characters will perform on ice and offer a great show for kids.

1.    HOLIDAY SIGHTSEEING 

Organized by Open Tours, until 6 January 2019

The tour is called “Illuminations of Paris” and offers an evening sightseeing tour of the decorated monuments and streets of Paris.

2.    WINDOW DISPLAYS

Until early January 2019

 See the holiday decorated window displays of the Parisian department stores like PrintempsGaleries Lafayette and Bon Marche Rive Gauche.

3.    CHRISTMAS MARKETS

Until 6 January 2019

  •  Tuileries Gardens, a large market filled with French products from a lot of famous suppliers, children’s activities and performances, a carrousel, an ice rink and Santa Claus riding on his sleigh the 24th and 25th of December 2018.

  • City Hall, Mairie de ParisPlace de l'Hôtel de Ville, except Christmas stalls offers different fun activities for kids

  • Christmas village on La DefenceParvis de la Défense, closes 29 December 2018, one of the largest Christmas villages and markets in Paris.

  • More also on the square of the Notre-Dame Cathedral, in St. Germain des Pres church, in Centre Pompidou, in the Gare de L’Est, in Quartier des Halles, and more. 

4.    DISNEY CHRISTMAS

Disneyland Paris, until 6 January 2019

Spend the holidays at least for a day in Euro Disney, which is holiday decorated and offers fun activities; not too far from Paris.  

5.     CABARET NIGHTS

Paris is famous for its cabaret’s and old-style music halls. All year round they offer shows and lucrative packages (table with champagne or snacks etc). The Crazy Horse had a recent revamp and it’s the best to visit at the moment. There is also Moulin Rouge and Lido. You can find also special events during the holidays. 

6.     MUSIC IN THE CHURCH,

La Madeleine church, until 27 December 2018

In the Madeleine Church for few dates in December you can hear Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Schubert’s Ave Maria, with a very cheap ticket. For more info click here .

7.     ICE SKATING RINGS

Until late January

You will find them in Hotel de Ville, The Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais, Christmas Village of Champs Elysees, in Trocadero, in Jardin d’Acclimation and in the Parisian Zoo. For those possible try to book a session as they get quite busy in the holidays.
